Diabeties (diabetes mellitus is the exact medical term) is a group of conditions which all have in common that the blood glucose level control is not working properly, resulting in symptomssuch as more thirst, weight loss and increased risk of infections. There are also complications such as dibetic neuropathy.

Diabetes, or hyperglycemia (hypoglycemia), can not be cured but it is possible to prevent the condition, or rather to counter the symptoms to some extent by better
dibetic meal planning, diebetic diet (diabetic diets) and by introducing more exercise if you have a job in an office. If the diet and meal planning does
not help in the treatment of your hypoglycemia, you might require blood
glucose lowering tablets or insulin injections taken regularly in order to
manage your diabetes.
Diabetes is a condition that affects approximately five percent of the population, or slightly less.
The cause of diabetes is lacking of the hormone called insulin, or possibly that the body needs more insulin than it is able to produce. Insulin is produced in the pancreas. The hormone is in charge of the transportation of blood glucose to the cells in all parts of the body.
If the blood glucose (sugar) level reaches too high levels, it is called hypoglycemia. When this is caused by diabeties, there is a risk of further complications from nerve damages. These can result in dibetic foot, vision impairment or stroke. The diabetic foot problem comes from the fact that diabetic neuropathy seems to affect the longest nerves first and the nerve going all the way down to the feet is one of the longer in our body.
There are currently over twenty million children and adults in the US alone, suffering from diabetes, counting in nearly seven percent of the total population. Almost three quarters of these people have not yet been diagnosed with diabeties, usually because the symptoms are quite harmless and mild in the early stages of the condition.
We still don't know very much about the cause of diabetes but science has managed to establish that both environmental and genetic factors are involved when the disease develops. We know some factors that affect the risk of developing dibetes and these include overweight and lack of exercise. There are some studies pointing towards increased exercise being a factor in actually reducing the risk of getting diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes is more common in adults and is also called adult-onset diabeties. This is the most frequent type of diabetes. Gestational diabetes affects only women during pregnancy. Not every pregnant woman will develop gestational diabetes but it is always something that needs monitoring when pregnant since it is not that uncommon. Typically, gestational diabetes disappear again shortly after the birth. Pre-diabetes is the term for the stage in which a person is in the risk area of developing dibetes.
It is not uncommon to suffer from a high blood glucose level for years without many noticeable symptoms. The signs of diabetes arrive gradually and slowly:
Summary of diabeties symptoms and signs (dibetic, diebetic).
Diabetes receipt and dibetic meal planning is the base for a sound meal planning whether your dibetes is type 1 or 2, or even gestational diabeties. Hypoglycemia is a dangerous state where caused by wide fluctuations to the blood glucuse levels and it is important to achieve better meal plans consisting of several smaller meals and utilize glycemic index planning when constructing diebetes diets using GI receipts (recipes).
